In the match between Portugal and Bosnia and Herzegovina,Cristiano Ronaldo limped off the field!

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo received a scare during Portugal's 5-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica on Monday.

After scoring two early goals, Ronaldo was attacked in the 39th minute by a pitch intruder who ran onto the pitch and attempted to take a photo with the 38-year-old.

The pitch invader appears to be a fan of Ronaldo as he wore an Al Nasr jersey.

However, Ronaldo didn't appear happy after being startled by a fan who approached him from behind. The video also appears to suggest that the fan - or one of the five security guards who reacted quickly to remove him - may have stepped on Ronaldo's foot. Ronaldo initially appeared to be physically injured as he was seen limping. However, he was able to continue playing until he was substituted in the 65th minute.

Just three days before the incident, another pitch intruder made a beeline for Ronaldo during Portugal's 3-2 win over Slovakia.

On that occasion, Ronaldo shook hands with the young fan.

Ronaldo has scored 40 goals in 43 appearances for Al Nasr and Portugal so far this year.
