Lionel Messi didn't even make the squad as Inter Miami will lose their talisman in today's US Open final.

Inter Miami have won two of the three games played without Messi since his arrival in July, but red-hot Dynamo could be their biggest test yet.

The Houston Dynamo took full advantage of Lionel Messi's absence. A relatively comfortable 2-0 lead in the game. Dynamo dominated the first half and it looked like Inter Miami would lose today without Messi.

This game is now at halftime, and Inter Miami is temporarily trailing 0-2. If they can come back and win without Messi, it will be a lifelong glory.
