Romelu Lukaku feels he is a much better player after his spell in Italy with Inter Milan, saying he has worked on his game to make himself the "complete package".

Lukaku sealed a £97.5million return to Stamford Bridge during the summer after a very successful two-year stint at the San Siro, where he scored 64 goals in 95 games, helping the Nerazzurri win the Scudetto.

That great run of form earned him move back to Chelsea, ten years after signing as a prodigious teenager from Anderlecht in his homeland.

And he 28-year-old is now a different player in many aspects of his game and has scored four in nine upon his return to West London.

Speaking about his development, the Belgium striker thinks he is a more rounded player thanks to his time at the San Siro and says he has worked hard to improve weaknesses in his game.

"I'm much more calm," he told the official club website.

Lukaku worked on weaknesses

"After winning in Italy and knowing what it takes to get there, that really helped me. In the last three years, I've been able to build something that I can take on for the rest of my career.

"I recognised my little qualities and talent, but I also knew what I was not good at and I really spent a lot of time working on those attributes to be the complete package."

Chelsea are next in action in the Premier League, away at Brentford on Saturday, before they face Swedish outfit Malmo in the Champions League on Wednesday 20th October.
