What are the positions in a football game?

In American football, there are several different positions on both offense and defense. Here are some of the main positions:

Offense:

Quarterback (QB): The leader of the offense, the quarterback is responsible for receiving the snap from the center, making decisions about which play to run, and throwing or handing the ball off to a teammate.
