Inter Milan

The Internazionale Milano Football Club, commonly known as Inter or Internazionale, is a football club located in the city of Milan, in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is one of the traditional three strong northern teams of the Italian Serie A league, and its home stadium is the Meacha Stadium.

History:

The Internazionale Milano Football Club was founded on March 9, 1908, when some members of the Milan Cricket and Football Club (the predecessor of AC Milan at the time) split off to form Inter. The team's jerseys are composed of blue and black, the two main colors. The club was named "Internazionale" because it opened its doors to all players worldwide, not just Italian players.

At the time of Inter's founding, Italian and Swiss players from Milan Cricket and Football Club were extremely dissatisfied with the team's excessive British influence, so they left the team and formed Inter on their own.

Two years later, Inter won its first Serie A championship in club history. In 1928, the fascist representative of Italy, Mussolini (a fanatical AC Milan fan), forced Inter to change its name to "A.S. Ambrosiana." During the "Grande Inter" era of the 1960s, Inter defeated Real Madrid 3-1 in Vienna, Austria, to win its first European Cup, and successfully defended it the following year.

On June 11, 1978, Inter visited China after winning the Italian Cup, becoming the first professional football team to visit mainland China and establishing a deep connection with Chinese football. In 1999, the Inter Milan Qingdao Football School was established, the only football school directly established in cooperation with a world-famous football club in China, and the largest and best-equipped football school established by Inter Milan worldwide.

In the 2006-07 season, Inter set a record of 17 consecutive wins in the Serie A league, which is also the record for consecutive wins in the top European leagues. In the 2009-10 season, under the leadership of head coach Jose Mourinho, Inter won both the Italian Cup and Serie A championship. On May 22, 2010, in the Champions League final, Inter defeated Bayern Munich and won the European Champions Cup, a feat that had been absent for 45 years, achieving the triple crown (league, Italian Cup, and European Champions League).
