Sadio Mane punched Leroy Sane in bust-up after Bayern Munich's defeat to Man City

Sky Germany is reporting that Leroy Sane's lip was bleeding after the altercation and the two players needed to be separated by their fellow team-mates in the dressing room; the duo were seen on the pitch arguing in the latter stages of the match on Tuesday as Man City won 3-0

Sane was full of motivation against his old club, and Mane came off the bench in the 69th minute of the game. The origin of the conflict was in the 83rd minute of the game, when Sane and Mane had a heated argument on the court over a pass, which was recorded by the camera.

There was a short but heated discussion after the game in the Bayern dressing room. Mane is understood to have complained about the way Sane spoke to him, and he suddenly attacked Sane, hitting him in the face and on the lips before the pair had to be separated by teammates. In order to calm the incident, Sane was sent out of the dressing room. Witnesses said Sane had marks on his face from the blow.

Bayern declined to comment on the matter and possible consequences.
