Real Madrid aims to strengthen attack with Heung Min-Son after Gareth Bale Exit and Mbappe snub

The White Angels were dealt a serious blow in their transfer plans to sign French forward   Kylian Mbappe last month. They have therefore decided to plot a shocking move for South Korean forward   Son Heung-Min.

The reigning Spanish and European champions also released Welsh winger   Gareth Bale after his contract expired and would need to reinforce their attack ahead of next season. This has increased speculation that Florentino Perez would break the bank to sign the Tottenham superstar.

The 29-year-old winger enjoyed an outstanding season alongside his partner in crime, Harry Kane in a season that saw him share the golden boot after amassing 23 goals with Liverpool’s Mo Salah.

Real Madrid’s Manager Carlo Ancelotti will be desperate to add more viable options in attack, given the inefficiencies of Eden Hazard who has not lived up to the billing. The Italian is said to be a big admirer of the South Korean international and will fancy drafting him into the starting eleven straight away.

Real’s Need to Fill a Gaping Hole

The departures of Gareth Bale and Isco and the almost imminent departure of Marco Asensio, the Italian has his work cut out for him in retaining both Local and European glory next season. The Spanish winger Asensio is said to be receiving serious interest from Liverpool and Ac Milan, and he is said to be keen on a move.

Having been dealt a major blow in the Mbappe saga, Perez is believed to want a Marquee signing to assuage the fans’ anger at the Frenchman. Perez also believes that Son could be the perfect option for Los Blancos.

The South Korean’s 23 premier league goals were enormously influential in lifting the North London team from mediocrity into the top 4. In the process getting one over their local rivals Arsenal, in what started as a horrific season for Spurs.

However, it remains vague as to how the La Liga giants intend pricing Son from Tottenham, given that Daniel Levy is such an excellent bargainer. Also Real know from the experiences of Bale and Modric that it will be quite difficult to strike a cheap deal with the club. Moreover, the winger recently extended his current deal

'It’s like home, especially with the fans, the players, the staff,' the Korean winger said upon signing a new deal last summer.

'There was no decision. It was easy. I’m so happy to be here and will be so glad to see the fans again soon.'

The Spanish club are also linked with other forwards like Man United's Garnacho and Everton's Richarlison.
