Arsenal Football Club is a traditional powerhouse in the English Premier League, located in Holloway, London.

Arsenal is one of the most successful football clubs in the world, having won 13 top-flight league championships and 10 FA Cups, and is one of the oldest clubs in the history of the English top-flight football league.

Club History:

Arsenal was founded in 1886 and joined the Football League in 1893 as the first southern football club to do so. In 1919, Arsenal was selected to participate in the first post-World War I First Division League and has never been relegated since then, making it one of the most successful football clubs in England. In the 1930s, Arsenal won multiple major titles, including five league championships and two FA Cups. After a period of decline following World War II, Arsenal became the second team of the 20th century to win the double. In the 2003/04 season, Arsenal won the league championship with an unbeaten record and made history by reaching the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2006.

Arsenal was formed by workers from the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, London, and was originally named the "Royal Arsenal Football Club." In 1891, the club became a professional team and changed its name to "Woolwich Arsenal Football Club." The club's traditional colors of red and white are closely tied to its history. In 1913, the club moved to Highbury in North London and was renamed "Arsenal Football Club." In 2006, the club moved to its current home, the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal is affectionately known by its fans as the "Gunners."
